This was an exercise in creative exploration. I picked one of my favorite rappers Tyler, the Creator to make an experimental zine about. A zine, as I came to find out, is a fan-made book made about one particular subject. The beauty is that the art, much like the subject matter, is bound to no particular direction. I chose to tell a story about having a crush, growing apart, and feeling self doubt along the way. This is how I've experienced his music as I've grown up, so I chose visuals from comics and movies to reflect that.
