I decided to tackle the issue of ocean conservation for this project, a topic I feel very strogly about. I realized that there are so many statistics and initiatives, I had a really hard time discerning what was legitimate. And so The Shearwater Project was born: a conceptual company committed to highlighting ocean conservation efforts that actually work. The Shearwater is a bird who flies low across the water; an organism whose survival is directly linked to the health of our oceans, just like mankind.
